Even with Friday Fight, which I think is the hardest workout from month 1! My week 2 Insanity MAX:30 schedule is as follows: I want to be able to push hard AND complete the 30 minute workout without stopping. That is the beauty of any Beachbody workout program! You can tailor it to YOUR goals and needs. He actually says in the workout several times that he wants us to max out. However, I think Shaun T designed the program so you DO NOT pace yourself. I am trying to keep moving for 30 minutes straight without taking breaks. If you go all out in the beginning my guess is you will burnout by the end. That is NOT a lot of time to rest and recover. This means we get 6, 30-second breaks during the 30-minute workout. So the rounds last 4.5 minutes and breaks for 30 seconds in between. Once you have completed the round, you get a 30-second break. The format of Insanity MAX:30 Cardio Challenge is you complete 3 moves for 30 seconds each THREE times around. What is the Insanity MAX:30 Cardio Challenge Format? It is only 5 minutes but the intensity starts right for the begin. To me, the warmup is part of the workout. I will be totally honest, I couldn’t stay with Shaun T even during the warmup. Then, you can see when you max out and keep striving to do better the next time.

Shaun T says to try to stay with him as long as you can in the Cardio Challenge. The workouts are shorter but that doesn’t mean they are any easier. I was already in pretty good shape with Core De Force but this program is pushing me harder. Last Monday during Insanity MAX:30 Cardio Challenge, I went a lot slower and had to modify more of the workout. I am only ONE week into Insanity MAX:30 and I am already noticing changes in my endurance from last week.
